MetSoc poster session

Like every good conference MetSoc has a poster session which is on right now.

Posters are often presented when the work is still ‘in progress’ and are also great if you want to have a detailed chat with the experts about your work. Oral presentations often don’t allow for enough discussion time as we need to keep to the schedule.

The only poster from our group this time is by Alex who is having a great time explaining her work to visitors.

I myself am going around having a close look at interesting posters and chatting to the presenters to get the details out of them.

Here in Berkeley they are also providing some great food, wine and beer which I just ran out off…..
